Keepsakes Unseen

Keepsakes Unseen KU-01 Mock-up
KU-01

In "Keepsakes Unseen," the relationship between humanity and technology is both the subject and the method.Artificial intelligence was used to produce this series, letting the machine offer its own vision of us. The AI renders humans absorbed in screens across diverse artistic styles, as if dreaming in multiple genres, each painting a different facet of the same quiet revolution.

What is striking isn't loss, it's reach. The screen in every figure's hand is a window, not a wall. Through these devices we extend our awareness far beyond the room we're standing in, connecting to people, ideas, and worlds that would otherwise remain invisible to us. Something shifts in that exchange, certainly. Presence changes shape. But what rushes in to fill that space is vast. A kind of consciousness that no previous generation could access.

This collection sits at the threshold of that transition. The hunched posture, the glowing rectangle...these are the awkward early gestures of a species learning a new language. They won't last. As we move forward, the interface will become subtler, more seamless, until the boundary between our inner lives and the digital realm softens into something we can't quite distinguish.

By using AI to depict this tension, and this promise, you are invited into contemplation about what's actually happening when we look down at our screens. Not escape, but expansion. Not disconnection, but a different kind of connection, one we're still learning how to hold.
